I really found it hard going today. 12 and half minutes of running and I was ready to stop but I didn’t. I kept going until the end and felt like kissing the floor when I’d finished. I hope the next run is better 🏃‍♀️🐌

I must have looked bad because I passed some youths on bikes and the gobby one asked me if I’d s**t myself, lol 😂 Mind you I was running up hill at the time 🥵

They were only young lads, his comment went over my head.

I did my first run today and took my 7 year old with me. It was really hard work and I felt like giving up but halfway through it seemed to get easier. Well done you for keeping going 😊

Glad you kept going as well. Bet it was nice to have company while you train.

Hope you s**t on him/her/it/ klingon/ undefined/ non specific/ (have to be politically correct) Perhaps a pack of ravonous purple snails will attack his family region. Anyway some runs are easy and some are hard. Always easy is boring so its great to have variation in the effort required. Just remember you are one of the do,ers so be proud of yourself.

He was just having his bit of fun at my expense. I’m pretty thick skinned so his remark didn’t bother me. My snails were slithering with me giving them the evil eye lol. With any luck the next run will be better x

As a cyclist and now also a runner I would never comment on another runner as that cheeky gobby slobby fat **** cyclist said to you, if I had been running I would have tried to push him off his bike knowing that falling off a bike can really hurt you, I assume it was a guy.

Yes just a young lad showing off in front of his friends. Normally I’d have given him his answer but I was tired and I’d still got 10 minutes of running.

I hope when he’s in his mid 50’s he can run like me.

You’re a hero if you’re doing this running up hills! Took me ages to pluck up the courage to attempt one. So go you 💪🐌💪 x

I did some road running and it took me up little hills. I think that’s why I got tired earlier than normal.

Good run Tazzy. You know the drill now; if it feels too tough just slow down a bit. The odd “witty” comment brightens up the day!!You are doing brilliantly 😊

I got the odd comment right at the beginning of C25k, always from someone who was walking slowly! One woman told her partner “ he’s moving a sight faster than you ever do!” Put a spring in my step. Never happens now though; I must have speeded up a bit😂 Most people are encouraging.

I’m sure my pace will increase in time. The lad was old enough to be my grandson. It was just funny when he said alright bab, you s**t yourself. I don’t think I was far off doing it due to tittering lol 😂

It will definitely increase with time. I just got to a point when I felt ready to push on. I think interval running really helped 30 seconds slow 20 seconds normal run and 10 second sprint repeated as often as you can manage.. but all in good time; definitely no rush 😊

No one is young forever. Those lads made me smile but I wish I’d given them an answer lol

Love your attitude! I did W7R2 and, despite being super slow anyway, I was even slower on this run. Just think, one more run and then its week 8🥳

It’s a great feeling knowing that you can run for a good length of time. My pace is so slow but it suits me. I’m doing my best even if your average snail is better than me, lol 😂
