I think i have a problem!!!today is my rest day...tomorrow i begin week 5...its not even 8 am & i am already thinking about tomorrow's run & (mentally) twiddling my thumbs!!!anybody else this addicted to this programme or is it just me haha π€£π (this is VERY uncharacteristic behaviour for me being a previous non runner & all π€)
Wonderful..this addiction I was up getting ready for arrival of small runner in training, but managed a quick( relatively speaking..) 1K before she arrived
It's not just you. I'd never really run before. I get itchy feet on run day, get really annoyed if I have to miss a day and after the run I want to do more. Being forced to take time out of the programme is really getting me down.
Glad its not just me!!!is this because of your leg injury the other day?is it still painful?i really feel for you π i started doing this beginning of september then became really unwell with a nasty sinus infection the drs kept missing.i wasnt able to run for 2 months & it was driving me crazy!!!i wss only a couple of weeks in but had the running bug already!!!
I hope you are better soon & able to get back to it ASAP π
Thanks Claire. Yes, the calf problem. It's not painful as such now, but it feels tight if I walk too quickly or go up stairs. I'll leave it another few days before attempting anything and will take it slowly.
2 months off must have been a mare, as just 3 days is driving me mad. Glad you are over the sinus infection. I know those make you feel awful and can go on for weeks.
I have heard that foam rollers are good for tight calves...might be worth a try?you are probably doing the best thing by not rushing into another run even though its very frustrating!!!hope it sorts itself out very soon π
