Week 5 run 1

Had a few days away in Córdoba so hadn’t done any running for 5 days, pleased to say today went well, fearful that my running is perhaps little more than fast walking! Also fearful that the leap in running times from now on may be a challenge too far!! Help....

I'm pretty sure I could walk faster than I'm currently running. But I'm not bothered because I see the goal initially as extending the time I can run for . Only once I'm running continuously for half-an-hour will I look at things like whether I can speed up a bit or run for longer.

Hope you enjoyed some nice montilla in Cordoba!

You will be fine honestly, you've done the first one, take it nice and steady for Run 2 and maybe give yourself an extra day's rest, before tackling Run 3. and then guess what the same advice still stands, nice and steady does it.

Happy running this week - looking forward to your celebratory posts...

Consider running when you are away (you lucky thing!)...it's really good fun to do some tourist jogging :)

Im neck and neck with you and determined to manage the rest of this week. Im pretty sure we can both do it. Im slow too.

Just take it as you are doing... slow and steady and one foot in front of the other... You are ready for each and very single run :)

Just believe it:)
