So, I got through week 4 but now I have week 5 and having looked ahead to run 3 I am frankly terrified! I can't see myself running for 20 minutes with no walking but everyone says trust the programme so I guess I'm going to have to. We'll see...

Look into my πŸ‘€- trust the program πŸ˜‰. It's hard not to, but try not to look forward. Go with what the program asks...you can do it 😘

Hey they're all right....from someone who started and could only manage 40 seconds 9 months later I can now run for about and hour (8ks in the real Central Park!) so believe in yourself and believe in the programme.....and magic will happen :) x

Thanks both of you. I am going to give it my best shot, that's all I can do lol! Really not feeling like going tomorrow as been in London all weekend and did soooo much walking I'm proper exhausted. But I can't not go out can I ;)

One run at a time and trust Laura. She really does know what she is talking about although we all doubt at times πŸ˜€ Look forward to hearing how fab you feel at the end of W5 πŸ‘ŸπŸƒπŸ‘ŸπŸƒ

Look back at your own post from week 4 run 1 and you'll feel more confident :-)

Most of us stressed out about run 3 but somehow managed to do it.

I know. Most of it is psychological I'm sure. I'm running fine but I'm thinking to myself I can't make it to the end....got to stop that! Every next stage looks a bit more scary too.

You've gone from running for 60 seconds to 5 minutes this week. Every week is a great accomplishment. If you are feeling tired then don't force yourself to go running, you could always run the day after when you will feel more refreshed.

I have to admit I didn't go this morning but don't tell anyone ;) I overslept! I'm going to go for it tomorrow though

You and me both W5 run 1 on Tuesday. This time next week I should have done all 3 runs. I can't believe I will have moved from 5 mins to 20 in a week.

Don't worry loisamelia,

You will be ready, just have confidence in the plan and remember to take it slowly. Its a great week, you can do it.😊

Mental note glasses, glasses! I managed to click on the wrong run, should have done w4 r3 but found myself doing w5 r1, just kept going it was surprisingly good. Today will do w5 r1 again and carry on with the programme, getting hooked!

Come on Lois. You are a runner now. You can do this πŸ‘

Oh I know Jadrel! I lost a pair of specs on a run. I had parked them on top of my head 😊

I too didn't feel I would ever be able to that but I trusted with the programme and am now on W7 R2 completed this morning. That's 25 mins of non stop running(well jogging really) but it does count as running, I think! Didn't think I would ever be able to run more than the 60 seconds of W1 at my age of 52!!, so trust with the programme and you will progress as we all have been there. Look forward to hearing all about it in future posts
