Set off at lunch time to do a 5k round local reservoir, I hated every min and only did 2.5 miles I couldn't go on . I haven't been feeling the love since got back from Florida,but this was the pits! And last 3 runs since my return have been a min mile slower !oh dear what's going on .? I do have a chesty cough as well,though my chest is clear . .

Maybe give your body a rest until your feeling better. I’ve just taken a week off after a bad run last Sunday and feeling not right all week think some sort of virus and I completed week 9 Run 2 this morning and it was a really good run. Go easy on yourself and listen to your body you’ll soon be back on track and enjoying your runs again. Good luck and hope you feel better soon 😀

Good advice from Amarigue1976 .

You will never get a good performance when feeling under par.

Take some days off, keep nice and warm and a bit of tlc, will make you as right as rain. If you're under the weather, it's hard to feel the love, especially when comparing this weather with Florida, oh my that's a big change to cope with.

Sounds like the glorious combination of a viral infection and jetlag - enough to wilt anybody's enthusiasm. 😔

I really sympathise, my graduation run was miserable thanks for a viral infection, - with hindsight I should have stopped and gone home. You're running will come right when you are better, look after yourself. 😄
