Will running for 25 minutes ever get easier? Having said that, 20 min I can do easily..after I get over the hurdle of the achy and huffy-puffy first5minutes! And 2 weeks ago, the thought of running for20 minutes gave me sleepless nights!
I have started noticing that my mood on the non-run days is not so good but the days I run I am a much nicer, calmer and relaxed person. Anyone else experienced this?

Many of us...! I get the Grumplies... when I cannot run..
Get past the toxic ten ( or five) then relax... These runs are great for that.. let the newly found running legs take you.. breathe gently, let the world pass you by...just go with it
I'm just done with wk8 but got stuck in a week 7 vortex for a couple of weeks waiting for it ti get easier (as in less ardous and painful ) I am happy to report I now have moments of lucid running .
I'm the same on non- run days - feel like an addict waiting for my running fix - I've just gone 2 wks and no run ( long story) and hadn't fully appreciated the power of the run as a mood enhancer until I ran on Saturday - positively euphoric !
Yes, the longer runs do get better. I really struggled in W7 and my brain went on and on whingeing "Can I stop? ". Then in W8 it all began to get so much better and running for that length of time felt quite normal.
Hey Zarmina, the extra 5 does seem harder, I did w7r1 today and found it challenging for the first 10 mins or so... don’t think the head on wind and rain helped much !!
I find I have to zone out and go for it.
I get grumpy on non run days...!! And look forward to the end of the work day so I can throw on my trainers Andy get out. !
