First Proper Medal!

I haven't posted on here for a while, but I just wanted to share my achievement.

Today I ran with FiT2RuN for their Happisburgh Fabulous 5k, which I completed in 39:54!

I'm still at it, normally twice a week since the nights have been drawing in, and I'm still enjoying it. I graduated in July, and I have a friend who goes out with me normally on the weekends, as well as finding a local beginners group which is where today's run was organised from.

Before I started Couch to 5k, I did the Race for Life as a complete non-runner in 46 minutes. I am now 6 minutes faster, and that's MASSIVE for me!

I have learned that if you go at your own pace, and do what you're comfortable with, you'll surprise yourself with what you can achieve.

Keep at it guys, you are all amazing!

Thank you! It's my first medal EVER! I don't count the ones from Race for Life, they're more like souvenirs or reminders of the day. I've been feeling like a little kid all day, I've been so excited! 😁

That's great - you are an inspiration! I graduated in August and my 5Ks are taking 45 mins but there is hope that I might eventually get to a time like yours!👍👏👏👏
