I completed Couch to 5k yesterday. Hubby is working today so I decided to go to the gym to try and run a full 5k on the treadmill.

I DID IT!!!!!!

5km in 36.40 minutes. Not the quickest time but now I’ve got a starting point.

Not going to lie it was hard work and I nearly stopped with just over 1km to go but I persevered.

I even had to tell some random bloke at the gym because I was so happy - poor thing just looked at me like I was a loon haha !!

Onwards and upwards πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

So now you have told us all and while the random bloke at the gym may not understand, we do.

Congratulations on your graduation and first 5k.

A memorable day.

Now to ingrain the habit into your life.

My milestones were

To complete C25K

Week5 run3

To run for 30 mins non-stop

To run 5K

To run 5K non-stop

To run 5K under 30 mins

and that is all - nothing further or faster

and now I find I am approaching my last milestone again, having achieved it many times some years ago, but now it is appearing in my headlights again. Here's to smashing it again!
