Week 7 Run 3 done

I did it!!! Was hard going in the wind and rain but who lets the weather stop them!!! Ten minutes in my calves didn’t feeling like cooperating but my stubborn streak kicked in to maximum effect and I was determined I was finishing this week even if I crawled!!! Thankfully I didn’t have to as at the last 5 mins my legs decide to join my run and the last 60 secs felt like 10. Bring on week 8 only 6 more runs and I can 👨‍🎓 graduate. Good luck everyone whatever run your on 👍

  • Well done for tackling all that week 8 here we come (albeit very slowly in my case) 👍😀

  • Well get there we’ve come too far not to. Was it windy where you are I definitely found it tougher running when it was so windy but I did 2.9 miles so think I’m doing ok and hopefully should hit 5k by the end. Even if I don’t I’m proud of what I’ve achieved and so should you be 😀

  • It was very windy and seemed to be hitting me in the face for most of the time, with the walks either end it worked out 4.10k so hopefully 5k will come, let’s just say “don’t” come into it and we will achieve it and be very proud 👍

  • Yes definitely roll on week 8 😀

  • Well done, can’t imagine being on week 7 😰

  • You will get there don’t worry. Positive mental attitude its all mind over matter. Good luck you can do it 😀

  • Yay. Well done. You are flying through these runs. Enjoy week 8 🙌🏻

  • Thank you hope you are doing ok. Good luck with your next run not far to graduation for you 😀

  • Yes, 3 more runs until graduation. I can’t believe it 😀

  • You can do it the finish line for c25k is in sight and the start of your free choice running 👍

  • A stubborn streak ? I would say you have a determined positive attitude that will see you achieve the success you dederve. As for achieving the 5k by the end of week 9, do not get fixated on it at the expense of a injury free run in; the 5k will come, the programme is geared to get us running for the 30 mins,

  • Ah thank you. I’m just going to carry on plodding on at my own pace and if I achieve it I do! Or if not I will keep plodding on certainly don’t want to get injured and stall my new found obsession with running 🏃
