Holy cow week 4!!!

Completed week4 run 1 tonight. Flip I knew it was going to be hard. But crikey. In fairness having spent this morning walking the dog and walking around belfast zoo with family, the legs did not fail me. A zoo built on a hill and pushing a buggy is enough to tire anyone out and before doing this, I would have been fast asleep on the sofa refusing to budge until bedtime. However, having started this programme, my energy levels are fantastic and I have enjoyed the runs. I was the girl in school who would have done anything and everything to get out of running as I was pants, but this works. It actually works. I have never run for 5 minutes and tonight I did 😎

This was the run that freaked me out. 5 minutes! How on earth could I run that far. in retrospect once I achieved that no other run seemed impossible. So. yay for getting that one under your belt.

Thank you. I like to treat myself after every run with a nice cold can of coke zero. Better than a chocolate bar lol

Well done! I remember how daunting that first 5-minute run was. You've passed a milestone there!

Well done, W4 is great achievement, you are doing so well, keep it up... watch the hidden Km’s though, they can really catch you out ... πŸ™„πŸ˜Š

Kms? What do you mean

The hidden Kilometres ... I went out for a run one evening last week, only 4.2km but I was totally shot by the end it, when I checked my stats I'd actually covered 11.5 Km during the day ... running in the evening usually means running on tired legs ...

Lol. That's what I thought you meant. I wear a fitbit to track my daily life and then also track my walks with the dog and the runs to keep tabs of my trainers life. I found that the state of shoes has a real impact on my legs. Yesterday was 7 miles. But that's part of life. Evenings are the time when I can fit the runs in as the little one is in bed and I can focus on me for a change
