Comeback Run 4

Hello peeps,

So after a dismal run the other night, I was determined to do better tonight. Decided this from morning and kept myself nice and calm during work (it's been a real crap week) and mentally prepared to do better.

I even got all the gear out and dressed up as a runner πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ‘. So onto the run....

Running app on, music on and off I went. I did a full 5 mins brisk warm up walk and then started the run. A lot calmer today and also a lot steadier, concentrating on my breathing a lot more. Got into a real groove and did a lot better today.

I must admit was much happier with the milder weather tonight, but soon remembered how hard it was running into the wind and having two railway bridges towards the end of the run didn't really help.

Seeing it was my fourth run, it wouldn't have been right if I didn't hit the 4K mark 😎😎☺️☺️☺️. Proof I did it..!!

Well done Saul😊

It is getting milder isn't it..there are daffodils out in Surrey..🌾

Glad you got your kit on and got in the groove. Great idea to plan your run in the morning and anticipate it all day, having put the thought in place you just gotta do it haven't youπŸ˜„...xxx

I guess that positive mental attitude really works. Or I was just geared up to do better than last time.

Hopefully the weather will start to settle itself now. No daffodils around here yet.
