Hi all, I have been reading posts to get me ready for the 20min run due this week. (I feel physically sick at the thought) I JUST managed the 8 min yesterday, it was hard work, but I kept it really slow and if I'm honest, surprised/delighted I made it! However, I am a little worried because I don't think my "brisk walk" between runs are brisk enough!! Mine are more of a "OMG, am I dying, just keep your legs moving so you don't fall over" pace. Anyone else felt the same???

Don’t overthink it. The programme has prepared you for this moment so you may surprise yourself. Good luck!
Just believe in yourself and you will do it. This programme has prepared you for it and your ready. Good luck and just keep going no matter what you will feel amazing when you do it! Just don’t listen to the gremlins run over them 😀
Yep... to this day I will never forget the week5 run3. I had nightmares all week leading up to it. I did it with my son and I took it slowly, did a there and back so that after halfway it was a countdown. You can do it, believe in yourself and the programme 😎
I don’t think many of us thought the dreaded 20 was doable....but it is, this is what you have been working towards...you can do it believe in yourself and this fantastic programme!! 👍🏻👍🏻
In your last run you ran for 16 minutes plus 5 minutes walking......... twenty one minutes total.
W5R3 is only 20 minutes.
What is the worst that can happen.................just maybe, you won't complete the run...........in which case you repeat it............is that really the end of the world?
Stop worrying. It is a training plan, not the Spanish Inquisition!!
Many others felt just like you then went on to amaze themselves. This is the week of self belief. This healthunlocked.com/couchto5... might help.
