Hi all I haven't posted for a while, just been watching what you have all been up to and feeling lazy and guilty. over the summer I did not stick to my runs so bad I know I am ashamed of myself I only rang maybe once a week and then nothing for a couple of weeks and the last time I ran was about a month ago and I struggled ran 10 mins then walked then ran. I has decided that I would go back to week 5 on c25k and start there 3 times a week (I graduated last December) however I caught my little toe on a chest of drawers last Friday woke Sat morning to a swollen and bruised foot went to A&E of course it had to be broke I really feel bad as I was determined to get out there again and feel so guilty reading all your posts does anyone have any idea how long I need to leave it swelling has gone just slight bruising and pain not to bad only at times it can be a little sore. please encourage me to get off my backside and not let the excuse of a little toe keep me on the couch any longer than I need to..xx

I have broken my little toe. so many times... if it is not swollen... just buddy it up with the next toe and run :)

The last time was in France... read this..it may make you giggle... I am sure you will be fine if you take a gentle jogette..if it does hurt, then you can stop :)

I think try it if you can run without painkillers and it doesn't hurt. If running makes it worse then you probably need to give it longer.

I have to buddy up my claw toe every run, it can still hurt but doesn't stop me running (though Lord knows, a thousand other things can!!!)

As Oldfloss says if it hurts, you can stop. My toe usually complains for the first 5 minutes and then shuts up)

Plus, your toe is going to heal up!!!! 8-)
