Hi there and welcome to What is your week October (4)
It is so good to see so many of you on here. How did your week go?
The idea of "what is your week"
Every week we are going to put up a post so you can add in a little post underneath to say what week you are planning to do this week.
Sample post (feel free to put as much or as little as you like)
Hi I am Realfoodieclub and this week I am doing wk 3, looking forward to it.😀
We are growing so much at the moment and I wanted to have a little fun post so we can see who is on what week of the program and hopefully it will help you to feel more included with the forum.
It will help other runners to know they are not alone on their own with their weeks and help everyone feel supported.
Please remember it doesn't matter if you stay on the same week for a while, that is fine it is a journey and it really doesn't matter how long it takes, it will be so worth it when you get to the final run.
At the end of the month there will be a October certificate for you to download and keep, just a little memento of the fact you have completed a whole moth of the program. Another full month of running for you.
If you have just graduated this will be a great place to keep you motivated, there is always the Quest on the Bridge to 10km forum as well for graduates.
I will add all the names from this week under this post. Every week for the month of September the names will roll over into another post.
Let's get a good list going so we can support each other.
(Come on you lurkers you can do it as well. 😀)
Wishing you all a happy healthy week.
Rfc x.

Hi, i'm starting week 6 tomorrow. Loving the running. I never thought I'd be able to due to a previous knee injury but so far so good, and I feel much fitter already compared to week 1. I'm expecting w6r1 to be tough after the 20min run last time out from what I've read, but I'll see for myself tomorrow!! 😀
Hey I've graduated but I'm doing a slightly different beginners 5k programme since I went right from graduation to high altitude running -- 8000 feet. I'm on week 7 of that programme now, aiming for the final 5k when I get back to sea level on Nov 1st.
Hi I'm Geraldine. Just finished week 7 today and starting week 8 later in the week. I think the program is fabulous and such a great way to get fitter.
I'm about do week 6 run 2 tomorrow. I spent most of last week worrying about running 20 minutes straight, but surprised myself and actually did it. I was so chuffed. This week im not feeling 100%, so it feels bit more of a struggle. Fingers crossed ot all works out🤞🏽
Just done Week 4 Run 2, felt a little bit more difficult than 4.1. but not much sleep. Not many hills around here but I find setting off uphill and returning down is quite a motivator.
