Hi there and welcome to What is your week December (2)

Nice to see so many of you joining in, it is a great support to everyone.

The idea of "what is your week"

Every week we are going to put up a post so you can add in a little post underneath to say what week you are planning to do this week.

Sample post (feel free to put as much or as little as you like)

Hi I am Realfoodieclub and this week I am doing wk 3, looking forward to it.πŸ˜€

We are growing so much at the moment and I wanted to have a little fun post so we can see who is on what week of the program and hopefully it will help you to feel more included with the forum.

It will help other runners to know they are not alone on their own with their weeks and help everyone feel supported.

Please remember it doesn't matter if you stay on the same week for a while, that is fine it is a journey and it really doesn't matter how long it takes, it will be so worth it when you get to the final run.

At the end of the month there will be a December certificate for you to download and keep, just a little memento of the fact you have completed a whole moth of the program. Another full month of running for you.

If you have just graduated this will be a great place to keep you motivated, there is always the Quest on the Bridge to 10km forum as well for graduates.

I will add all the names from this week under this post. Every week for the month of September the names will roll over into another post.

Let's get a good list going so we can support each other.

(Come on you lurkers you can do it as well. πŸ˜€)

Wishing you all a happy healthy week.

Rfc x.

The snow here in Halesowen is due to be rained on by Wednesday evening, so I'm hopeful I can get out then. I don't have a long term forecast for the sinusitis, but hopefully by listening to your body and taking it gently, you will keep your fitness going. Be kind to yourself. The running will still be there where you're ready to push forwards again. X

Snow, snow and more snow! Saturday I ran in the snow. It was jolly hard work but the scenery was stunning. Today I plan to dig out the car. Even the leisure centre is closed so can't even use the treadmill.

Very frustrated runner... But enjoying the snow all the same. Hopefully I'll get out there on Wednesday evening.

Hey!!

I'm currently on week 7, I did run 1 yesterday :)

I'm enjoying this programme so much and I find it amazing that I can now run for 25 minutes non stop and I'm not even that out of breath at the end!

For those doing the earlier weeks, definitely stick at it, It gets better and it is such an achievement!

Have an amazing week everyone!

I've just done W5R3 and amazed myself! I actually found it easier than W5R2 even though it was 20 whole minutes. Am 70 and have a sore hip at night but am OK running. All on the treadmill though - have to pluck up courage to run outside as I'm sure I will look an idiot.

If I saw you running outside I would be super impressed and it would motivate me even more!

Thanks for your comment. I am about to do W7r2, still on the treadmill! As Laura is not so necessary when doing longer runs I have downloaded some running music which might help the boredom.

I have an issue with timing though. When Laura says I have walked/run for a certain time the treadmill timer makes it at least a minute less, so I may not be running for as long as I think. My watch seems to agree with the treadmill.
