I know we’ve had discussions on here about songs but I just want to add that the Chanel ad has made me download another one ‘naughty boy’s running (lose yourself) now there’s one right there....it’s on my playlist...looking forward to that in my ears!!

Is that the ad where Hermione off of Harry Potter gets tangled up in some net curtains?

Good running song, but why are fragrance ads always so obscure!

Perhaps you should try Rammstein! Lovely steady groove, sensual guitars, gentle vocals resembling a hummingbird, and 'easy to follow and relate to' lyrics.

I'm genuinely surprised that their music isn't played at airports to steady nervous passengers' nerves.

When listening to those fellas l guarantee the improvement of your tempo as it is not as much the case of 'running along' as it is 'running from'.

It always scares the c**p out of me when it comes up on my running playlist :-).

Haha! Well, scary it may be but whatever makes you run faster has its benefits.

I never do playlists, instead l stick with full albums. If you plan ahead you know exactly what you'll get.

My 10K slow runs are much more docile affairs ;)

After a Radio 4 interview with Yoshiki on Friday evening, this weekend I've mostly been listening to X Japan. Not sure that I can run at that BPM - right now it's Dahlia, and must be about 200bpm.

I don't run to BPM, not at 54. Music simply colours my landscape, never dictates my run. And l listen to so much different stuff that my brain would probably confuse my legs to an extent that they would seize to work if l followed every song's BPM ;)
