I did the full eight minutes, NO CHEATING WOOHOOOO! Granted I intentionally went slower than last time, or as I like to call it "paced myself" and at times my jog was only one step up from a flappy power-walk, I did a full eight minutes of moving my lardy butt and even at that pace when I can do 30 minutes I will literally tell everyone! At some points - dare I say - I enjoyed it! Running on a field and in woodland under a blue sky with white fluffy clouds, a model aeroplane flying above me and my dog at my side I actually felt like one of those people who 'go for runs'!
Maybe I will be one of those people by Christmas 😃

Great job on that run. Slow and steady at your own comfy pace is great, and will bring you success...🏃
Keep going you are doing brilliantly, and every run session builds you up for the next.
Are you doing some gentle stretching after your warm down walk while your muscles are still warm. This will help you not feel so stiff on the next day. Always take at least one rest day between your run sessions.
Well done - you certainly sound like one of those people that "Goes for a run!". Im planning to run my way through Christmas, mostly so i can enjoy the Stollen guilt free!
Great work young lady, dare away, you loved it I'm sure! Looking forward to you joining the ranks of us former non-runners who now 'go for runs'!! ;0) Good luck!
