W1R2 - locking yourself out your house

Well I spent the whole of yesterday looking forward to getting back out there. I felt like all my anxiety over how I looked to other people just disappeared during my first one. I even found a better route on my second run. I felt all energised after it. Upon returning home, I realised I had forgotten one of my two house keys (took them off my key ring). Well I had to wait 35 minutes before my boyfriend was home with an intact set of keys. But what did I do in this time? I walked and done small jogs when my body allowed. I just can’t believe how much energy I have and I don’t really feel tired anymore. I’m looking forward to W1R3 tomorrow 😁

Good for you. You some how feel more springy 😃 👍💪🏃‍♀️

I took my keys off my key ring so I just run with one key but you do worry about losing it if you keep rummaging for your hankie or faffing with your music etc 😃

Yes definitely more springy 😂 it’s only been two runs but can’t believe the difference I feel already!

Well done Fairydust...you may have heard of pre-run faffing...this involves, finding the various pieces of important running kit, headphones, hats, singlasses from where you left them. Making sure things are properly charged...popping for that last wee a few times...and making sure you have your KEY! 😄

Good luck with W1 R3...you will nail it..and remember to do the faffage!😊x

I thought it was just me being inexperienced that was making me faff around so it’s good to know it’s just standard for any runner 😆 thanks, I can’t wait for tomorrow’s run and will definitely remember my keys and several trips to the loo! I’m attempting early morning as l am off work x
