As you may know, I recently did a sponsored run, for Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation. Its was 5K event, and while I thought it was early in my program of running, I entered anyway, and got a time that I was well chuffed with.
People have asked me about photos, but you can only add one photo to a leading post, so lets have a go at this way ... Even got a couple of images of HeadInTheClouds chilling out ...
Great photos. You look happy and relaxed on your run, great for a first event.. My race photos are always terrible. I have an event booked for next May and it includes a full set of race photos. I am determined to get at least one good one out of them π.
Well done. Nothing like doing a cool run like that to get hooked. Iβm going to attempt my first 10K event next month. Looking forward to the race season next year.
Oh, well and truly hooked. I want to graduate from C25K and build up to Park Run on a regular basis, while developing myself for 10k. Next year ... π
If I don't hear from you before, good luck for your 10K ... π
Thanks Floss, really enjoyed it too ... a proper sense of achievement from that run, ack to reality now, W6R1, again, tonight. Getting back into the program ... ππ
Thanks Sandra, as I said in my post about the run, I was expecting 40 minutes, but was overjoyed when I got the time of 35:36, so you can imagine how I felt when they said to knock off the 1:24 too ... woohoo 34:02 ... nice
