W7R1 That was a toughie!

I never feel quite as good doing my runs in the evening and tonight I really really struggled πŸ˜”

After 5 mins it felt like I'd done 10 and at the half way bell I was so sure I was going to not finish this one.

I felt so slow on the last 10 minutes the slugs and snails were waving as they sailed on by!!

I did it but I didn't get the high that I usually get when I've been completing the runs.

Friday will be better I'm sure 😁

Well done.. maybe a long day and the runs are longer too.. rest up, with some stretching etc.. and then on Friday head out slower... Keep it slow and enjoy the longer run.. try to relax and find your happy pace:)

Thank you Oldfloss, I think you're right about the pace, im still struggling to find my pace and I think I set off too fast this time. It knocked my confidence a little and I wasn't relaxed then.

I'm going to really concentrate on my pace on Friday 😁

I second that! And don't ever let one "meh" run get you down. We all have them, and better runs will follow. Well done for completing, it is a toughie. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Hi Sadie runs,

I don't usually feel like this after a run, I loved W6R3 but I think I just went out too fast and just didn't enjoy it!

Roll on Friday and back to a morning run and I'm really going to concentrate on pace on this run.

Xxx

You did it and dug deep to do so, kudos to you for that.

At this stage an extra day rest every so often won't hurt, oh and just in case check out your stats, just in case you're setting off too quickly. I found I did that at around W7, it was something to do with feeling fitter I think...
