Gosh that was hard work. It must be the day for hard runs, a few fellow runners have posted similar posts today. I really don't know why.....Heavy, heavy legs. Felt tired. Definitely experienced the 'Toxic 10'. I kept the pace slow but was willing Sarah to say I'd reached my 20 minutes and I really pushed hard in the final 5 minutes of the run to get to the walk. My calves felt solid but improved as I walked to the end and Sarah finally called time's up. It was bliss to stretch after.
I'm not looking forward to W7R2 when I have to go through that again. I feel down about the run, but proud with myself for having the strength to keep going. In the end, I guess that being able to keep going does show how much I have progressed, so I must remember that....π. A bit of a come-down after enjoying the same run so much on W6R3 βΉοΈ.
