Iβm very happy! A lovely cool autumn morning run, along my favourite old railway path. Last week I felt stuck, as if 30 mins was out of reach for me, but a few things have helped. I stopped thinking about time and chose a route that takes me just over 30 mins to complete, so I donβt have to check the time until the run is over. Then when I start to feel tired I slow down for a bit instead of stopping (thank you oldfloss). And I really pay attention to my breathing (3 strides in & 4 out) and focus on that when my mind starts playing tricks. Iβm sure Iβll have lots more difficult weeks, but my plan is just to try and get out there, not worry too much about how far/how slow, and eventually wear out the scary fluoro trainers so that I can justify buying a new pair ...

Congratulations! Nothing wrong with fluo trainers A railway path sounds fab. I couldn't do the breathing rhythm they suggest, I just try & breathe normally!
