W1R1 OMG 😲

β€’16 Replies

I did it, I've started! My left shin hurts of all things, but other than that I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the minute goes 😬 if I can't run by the end of this I'll be a fan of electro dance music at least 😊 bring on R2

Well done! Slow, steady, trust the programme ... it's the only thing that EVER got me running (did 2nd half marathon since graduating in 2016 yesterday) so if I can do it, anyone can! Keep us posted, we're here to support you :-)

In your mind replace the word 'run' with 'slow steady shuffle' and keep on going.

Enjoy the rest day and take the same great attitude to W1R2.

Well done you for getting out there and doing something that will make a huge change.

Enjoy the journey.

Well done!

I remember feeling that running W1R1 was β€˜in at the deep end’ and I struggled through the first few runs. I’m now at W9R2 and absolutely hooked. Keep it up!
