Feels like a milestone w4 r1

Criminey jicket I think that one actually counted as a run, I mean previously I think I have been getting through sort of telling myself I'm out walking with a few run type bits but today I felt like I went running with a couple of Walky bits to rest!

I have been dreading this one a tiny bit I must confess but feeling pretty chuffed I did it, be it slowly.

Stupid mistake on route though as I got further than usual which then meant running up a sort of hill (well slight slope at least!) I almost felt like I was going backwards at one point - still got there and I suppose now I know I can the rest of the week should be fine!

Onwards!!

What's wrong with slow? If it gets you to the end of the run then it matters not. Slow and steady gets you to the end of the run and helps avoid injuries.

Don't worry about speed or distance at the minute, you can increase both later.

Happy running.

You'll amaze yourself a lot more in the coming weeks, believe in yourself and when your head tells you to stop, just say, one more minute.

The mental side of running I found to be harder than the physical side, believe in yourself and trust the program, you can do it.
