I set off this morning feeling excited as I'd been looking forward to my next run, which happened to be w5r3. It was a fairly cool start which I was grateful for, with a fresh breeze against me for the first 2K. Halfway through I was desperately hoping Laura was going to change her mind and give me a walk break but alas no - so I kept plodding. I'd managed to start off in lowest gear this morning - I usually still start a little fast and have to slow down, but I think I was fairly steady today, which probably helped a lot.
Really pleased with how it went. Although I now totally believe in the program I obviously still don't believe in myself as I was surprised I managed this run so well!
The wild pea flowers and red campions are starting to take over from the cow parsley round our lanes now πΏπ·πΊ Bird of the day: I couldn't choose one, they were all out! A pair of sparrows fly catching above the hedgerow, my beautiful goldfinches π, a robin who accompanied me halfway up my last steep hill and the usual flock of chattering sparrows on the village rooftops.
Good luck with your weekend runs everyone, resting and stretching now for me until Monday ππΌ
