BIG FAT FAST 5K!!!

Im so bloody pleased! Today I ran my fastest 7K this year and to top it all - within that 7 was my fastest 5K too!! Yeeeehaaaaaaa!!!

5K Time was 26’33 and my 7 was 37’39.

Tomorrow I am getting new orthotics made up for my runnin shoes. I’m flat footed and always run in neutral shoes with orthotics, but I can feel the ones that I have are wearing down!! Had them over a year though so I’m due a new set.

Ah, Dan the man! Well done! My old plates are a bit flat and run in neutral shoes now, used to wear support shoes for overpronating but feet seemed to have changed since I first started running, not altered my speed though!😁 Still blinking slow! Oh well, at least I'm still out there doing it!😊

Shoes lose their bungee and you start feeling too much of the road through them, so sounds like the time is right for some new uns.

It's only the orthotics I'm renewing MW. My Asics are still going strong - they ought to.....as they're only about 6 weeks old!!
