...any thoughts/preferences?

I don't really understand much of it to tell the truth, but can see that it will be useful to track my progress as my stamina improves.

Thanks! 😁

Hi Indigogirl,

I started using Strava when I was doing Wk 9, just to see how far I was running and it felt good to have a record of my runs after graduating. A number of c25k forum members use Strava and 'follow' each other. I was using the free version of Strava and didn't have the voice prompts.

This week I started a new running plan and needed to be told my distances as I ran so I have started using Mapmyrun.

Its very easy to use and the voice prompts are telling me my time and pace at every 0.5k. This has been a relevation to me....its great, except Im not sure how to invite friends to share run details with 😯

Hope this is of help...😊

Happy running...

I use mapmyrun and find it ok, easy to use and at this point gives me all the info I need

mr JCR swears by Strava but he rides a bike, I swear by Map My Run although I don't like the mechanical voice lady, but her prompts are very useful. Mr JCR has calibrated the two and both for me are fine. I believe that Strava is supposedly more accurate but what I would say is throughout the programme it's all relative if MMR says you've done 10 seconds faster then it's 10 seconds faster...

Ahh...interestingly, the reason it really came to my mind is because a friend of mine who is a cyclist uses Strava mainly for her rides, but she has just started running and has logged her first run on there too....

Maybe I'll play with both for a bit, and see which one works for me as I go along.

Thanks!😄
