What it says really, I tried a variety of apps at the start and had settled on mapmyrun but then found run keeper. I suspect that when I've completed the podcast ill find the VoiceOver useful - updating me with how far etc! But I tried both today and got 2 different spoers and distances! Have other people changed, and what do you prefer? Can't have a farming, saving up for trainers!

Its usually comes down to personal choice with what your happy with.

I have stuck with mapmyrun and have no problems. Can even look at my monthly and yearly progress which I like.

I'm using runtastic which is pretty much the same as map my run although this one links up with myfitnesspal so I can keep a track of calories intake and calories burned... It also has a heart rate app which uses the camera + LED thought it was a bit gimmicky but it's mainly for resting heart rate.

I use RunKeeper - although I do also have a MapMyRun account :) I like RunKeeper for the way it gives me regular updates on pace and distance, and got MapMyRun purely so I could work out a route the right length when I was away from home. I've not used it other than for route planning.

I suspect there's not really very much to choose between them. If you're happy with one, then I'd stick with it.
