Just wondered, I've stuck at this for 9 months now, but I must be honest, people say you become hooked and love it. I don't but keep at it to keep the weight off.
I don't know whether to try 5-10k now, but I use NHS and Jo Wiley mixed in with my playlist and don't think there is anything similar out there?
Thanks

There is a HU Bridge to 10k forum designed just for questions like yours.
There are loads of training plans and apps out there for getting to 10k and what you choose depends on your personality.
I just increased one run per week within the 10% rule and within a few weeks i was running 10k.
The only SHOULD that applies, to my way of thinking, is that whatever you are doing, it SHOULD be fun. If you are sticking with it without enjoying it then you certainly need to change something.
Are you running outdoors or on a treadmill?
Whatever the answer to that question, I suggest you go and run somewhere beautiful and inspiring, forgetting about speed or distance, or try parkrun.
If keeping weight off is your motivation, then running further is going to be more effective. Running beyond 10k becomes much more so.
Thanks its daft I always feel better after I have done it and I'm glad i have , i guess I just need to focus on the positives, I run outside, much prefer it.
Thanks I'll look at the 10k forum and have a think
If you haven't already, why not try looking at organised events: timeoutdoors.com I always find that it keeps me motivated when I have a run to work towards.
And like IannodaTruffe say a park run as park of your weekly running regime can help with the enthusiasm
