Disaster strikes!!

So this morning my phone decides to restart itself. And continues to restart itself again and again until it runs out of battery. I sigh and think it'll be fine if I recharge...I was wrong. Then I start to panic ....

It's the first day of week 7 today!!

How am I going to get through without Mr Smooth?!

The old Wingie would've said 'its fate, I'll have to wait to get a new phone and carry on then', knowing full well that she wouldn't do that because she'd get a new phone at some point then say, 'I'm too out of shape now, I won't be able to carry on'. And she'd give up.

But new Spanish Wingie says to herself ... 'I can do this!' And I get dressed. My lovely Boyf lends me his phone so I can listen to music and my trusty Fitbit smiles and prepares itself to be my Mr Smooth-like countdown. Luckily it's not hard to count the intervals in week 7 is it πŸ˜‚

I did it and I felt the best I've ever felt during or after a run. There were no points I wanted to stop, even when I got a little stitch, I just breathed through it like he told me to in W3 (or whichever it was!)

But I'm kinda upset that I won't be able to graduate properly without actually completing the course since I'll have to redownload the app when I get a new phone. But I think I'll just leave him in a room and let him talk himself through the runs until I am up to date, it's not cheating if I've actually done them is it?!

It certainly isn't cheating you've put the work in you want/need your reward and a big well done for showing your determination today and getting out there

Thank you! 😊

It's definitely not cheating. And btw I think Mr Smooth would tell you if you were....

So well done fellow Smoothie for keeping going even with tech gremlins to cope with.

You might not need a new phone. Mine did something similar a while ago. It got itself tied up in an endless loop. I googled the problem on hubby's phone and found I needed to hold down certain buttons together to get it to sort itself out. So don't give up hope yet!

Oh and well done on doing the run regardless!

Ah it's been on it's way out for a while bless it. But I've replaced it today and am currently listening to W3R2 to catch up! 😊
