Hi all, just joined group.. great motivation reading everyone's posts! I'm struggling to fit 3 runs in a week so currently only running twice and repeating a extra run before I move in to the next week... does anyone recommend or do you think it's too long I'm between each run? I did feel it today running for 90 secs! Sounds so lame!

Not lame at all - twice a week is fine and better than nothing! You will feel it at first - but it gets easier - promise!

Just do it to suit your lifestyle... I run Sunday, Tuesday and Friday... ( Having to adjust currently as small runner in training is here now on Tuesdays and Wednesday) I shall run.. Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

Life happens and if you take it slow and steady, and keep up extra exercise on rest days, ( non impact) you will be just fine:)

Like crunches and squats? That's all I'm doing at the mo, and swimming every second week.

Strength and flex.. stamina exercises, core strength...yoga, walking, cycling... I have a regime of exercise I do every day, with stretches and strength exercises..

Thats fine Foxy,as Oldfloss has said, as long as you do each 'week' of the plan three times before you move onto the next it doesn't have to all be done in an actual week.

Rest days are important so don't worry if you can only fit in two runs per week.

Good luck with W2 R2 and every run is building stamina, we all started struggling with that 90 sec run believe me😄x

Thank you... I just can't help thinking that if I did 3 times I might find it easier! My prob is childcare... have a 3 and 5 year old so might just drag them along on scooters for the other day!

Good idea..fresh air for everyone😊..but don't stress if you don't always manage three runs in a week.x
