Hello has anyone repeateda week? Managed not to stop bit this week was a rough one!
Repeat : Hello has anyone repeateda week... - Couch to 5K
Repeat
Yes indeed. I repeated a few runs when I was doing the C25K plan. If your not feeling confident moving onto the next week there is no problem repeating a run or two. But also don't repeat too many. Have confidence in the plan, because it works and will build you up to the task slowly and surely.
Yes I've just done wk3 runs 2 & 3 twice after a 10 day of not running due to an op. I will try wk4 run1 tomorrow but if it feels too hard I'll go back to wk3 run 3 I do t care how long it takes I will get there eventually as will you!
A week? I graduated then looked back at how l did all that, considered two stupid injuries where l hurt myself by not listening to the forum's advice - and then did everything again, from first to last week, lol.
I claimed the badge after the second completion
Ah glad to know other people have! Thabks everyone!
I'm seriously considering repeating week 7. I had 2 attempts at run 1 and 2, managed to complete run 3 yesterday but I just don't feel confident enough to move on. I think I'm going to have a go at week 8 run 1 and if I can't quite make it go back and redo week 7.
Definitely, I was at W9 and struggling and lost my mojo. The longer runs hadn’t been that easy, probably from W7. I went back to W5R3, which I think was 20 mins and repeated it 3 times. I then went back to W7 runs of 25 mins before working through the programme again.
Maybe not right for many but it worked for me. There’s no hard and fast rules, do what feels right for you.
I’ve always gone out, planning to complete the run I’m currently on. However I tell myself, I’ll go with it, so if it goes well - great. However if not, no Run is wasted, each one makes you stronger.
It took me 50 runs to graduate, not the standard 27. Don't worry about it, but equally, don't stay at the same run until you think you can do it 'properly'. The programme is designed to push you a little and every run is a good run, even if you don't complete it - you are still out there running.
Good luck!
