And repeat

Never been a sporty person. Started c25k in February so should technically be finished. So unfit that I repeated week 1 for 5 weeks! Since then I've surprised myself at managing the 'scarey" longer runs and now about to start week 8 and really getting a buzz from my achievements. Keep going

There's hope for me yet then! - I've done Wk1, and am now repeating. With one more to go I still don't feel ready for Wk2. How did you decide you were ready to move on? Well done on getting to Week 8 :-)

You just try it. Each week will stretch you. But you would be better trying and not completing W2 then allowing yourself to get stuck on W1 through lack of confidence.

Hopefully, though you will surprise yourself!!

I just thought after 5 times I was never going to move on so one day decided to bite the bullet. It wasn't as hard a leap as I thought. Lots of the barriers are in our heads . Don't give up! When I was strugglingvfir breath and feeling like death I really didn't think I'd get this far. Good luck to you. Just go for it 😀

Thanks - I'll give it a go. I am doing it with a friend, which is a great help, as otherwise I don't think I would have the motivation! I'm just going to imagine myself 5 weeks from now when running for 90 seconds is a breeze!!

Well done, keep at it. When I started I couldn't run for 60 seconds after about the second burst, today I ran each 60 second section, apart from a few steps at the end of the sixth one (which was up a hill!) So you definitely get better over time. I just keep thinking everyone is different and the C25K programme is aimed at all different ages. I'm 53, and very unfit, so repeating Wk1 doesn't really feel like failure, just sensible for me.
