So today I decided to run a new route, part in my local park and part out and down the main road.
2 laps of this makes up 5k of which aprox just under 2 k downhill and the rest up hill, ended up running 5.03 with an average pace 7.29
My fastest k at 6.27 with my slowest at 9.04 which was the last k and you've guest it uphill but this now has given me a new challenge and something to improve on

Well done rolysmate you will soon be at home on that route and finding it much easier. New routes nearly always throw up new challenges but those make it fun and help you develop as a runner.
a new challenge for me getting comfortable and improving on this new route
Nice pace especially with hills... I have found I am a stronger walker too, as a result of the hill running. So whilst they can be real bitches, they do pay off. Well done
