Up and at 'em at 6.30. Have read so much about changing routes so this morning was out the door and heading along the main street of the village. (Usually drive to the flat seafront). Now this is in Devon so you can't go nowhere without hills, so new route and hills! Managed 20 mins in this high humidity, felt like there's no air. So I thought I'd save the rest of the hills for another day. Hills, I'm gonna beat ya!😀
New route!: Up and at 'em at 6.30. Have read so... - Couch to 5K
New route!
Hi Blossom, hadn’t thought about the hills in Devon, lucky you though running by the sea.
Interesting this, as I live on the edge of the Cotswolds and it’s hills...hills...hills!
I’ve only got the one flat road I’m using for C25k!
Really don’t know what to do after this week as it’s week 9 and I will need to change my route.
Good luck I will be very interested to know how you manage hills!
I'm still unsure about my changing of route and if I should do it.
The little field I go to takes me approx 5 minutes to get around (slower on the longer runs) and sometimes it's annoying knowing how long I've been running and how long I've got left based on the laps but on the other hand I've often said to my self 'oh, only another lap to go, I can do that' so I'm in two minds on if I should change :')
I would forget how many laps I'd done,
Seriously though, if you planned a circular route you wouldn't get that, past the fence post again feeling, you'd be seeing new things along your route, and I think the time would pass more quickly. Hope you decide to give it a try!
I live in Yorkshire and its all hills up to the village, that's why I run in the opposite direction 😂. I'll have to face them one day but it would have to be a lot cooler for that to happen. Well done for running in the warmth of today.
Uphill both ways...
