So disappointed I wont be able to do Park run this morning but I`m going to give last weeks calf strain another week to recover before going for it again and at least another couple of days before hitting the roads again, thank you for all the advice on stretching its been a great help and something I will be paying more attention to from now on

Hope the calf is better soon. I was too ill to do Park run last week so I volunteered and enjoyed that too. Running again today.
Not sure where you are on the programme..but the Park run will be there after Graduation..
Sensible to rest up for a bit longer too. Calf issues can be dire!
yes I did the c25k without knowing about this forum it was only at the end that I found you guys I managed 2 park runs over the last 2 weeks but realised I wasn't 100% fit and ready so just taking a step back slightly before preparing for next weeks, I find this forum would have been great while I was doing the App so many people have the same highs and lows that I had too and its so similar with people repeating the same weeks I needed to I wish I had found it sooner if I had I would have been better prepared at the end

Rushing back after injury is a big mistake.
