Well that stepped up a bit, completed R1 of this week on Tues, pleased to have completed today's run but the obstacle felt mental not physical?!

I felt like that too and this was the run where my head told me "I can run so I will run"

As you go further through the program, you start to realise that all the running is more a mental state of mind and a less physical one. Don't get me wrong, it's still physically tough but with a positive attitude towards the running and a positive mindset, you can and will achieve!!

Yup that's Week 5 all over. Work on these runs in your head, it really helps the legs to do them.

The gremlins like to spot their chances..just squish them with every slow and steady step:)

You are ready for each and very run.. they just need to realise that :) ( Not very bright..gremlins)

Oh yes, week 5 = a mental challenge. Nice to change up the challenges though! I just told myself that as long as I did not shoot off too fast, and I kept a nice steady pace, of course I could do it. And I focussed on the lyrics of the music I was playing, and looked at the sky and the trees and did not think about what my body was doing, other than keeping a check on relaxing my shoulders and making sure my footfall was light. Well done on completing R2 of MENTAL WEEK!
