Not gonna lie, I thought it would be worse as my shins ache from Sunday but I think it was a bit easier! How have you found going Week 1 to Week 2? Is it much harder...I'm worried already! πŸ˜‚

It's hard to say how difficult you'll find it, all I can say is don't worry about it - if you finish the run, great stuff πŸ‘πŸ» if you don't, then it's called practise for your next attempt πŸ˜€

Well done & welcome to Couch25K. Just keep your pace real slow & steady. It's not about speed but working on being able to run for 30 minutes. At the start it seems impossible but here I am running for 25 minutes in W7! I couldn't run for a bus 7 weeks ago! Lots of people get nervous- just read through the posts. Trust the programme, have fun & good luck! 😊

I've just done the same run! I'm pretty apprehensive about week 2 as well! But then I'm trying to remind myself that I thought I'd fail this week, and I've survived so far! πŸ˜€

The step ups from one week to the next are not so bad, trust me! I wouldn't have made it to week 5 if they were! Plus, with each new week your stamina improves, so you will be ready. Also, always worse in theory than in reality, so don't overthink it! Just go for it. Nice and steady does it. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I'm dreading week 2. I can run for a minute but not sure if I can manage any longer. Going for it on Saturday as R3 is tomorrow. Good luck πŸ€

Don't dread it, week 2 is delightful. Trust me, have been there. And made it out alive. Go slooooow. It works. You work. πŸ˜€

Dont think of it as a 'run'.

Too many folk try to break the sound barrier. Nice and slow. Slow and steady.

You'll cruise through it.

Dont be worried. Just take it nice and slow. Its neither a race nor competition. You just go at your own pace that you are comfy with.

At W1R2 my pace was 'dying man stumbling through desert'. Today I ran for 30 minutes nonstop for the first time in my life.

Slow slow slow.

My pace is pretty much the same as it was in W1 but my fitness has built up and I can carry on.

Just enjoy that you are doing something that is making a change to your health and fitness and life.

The fact that you get to meet all of us weirdos in here is just an added bonus !
