WK7R2 has been done β and I absolutely loved it.
Alarm clock went off at 6:10am and I didnt shout obscenities at it this morning but instead jumped out for bed, donned my running gear, grabbed my earphones, drank a glass of water, laced my trainers and off I went ππ»ββοΈ
I have found my ideal running time, starting between 6:15 and 6:30, when all I have is myself and my thoughts, the sunrise, Mother Nature, birdsong, the occasional dog walker and other runners. Not sure how much longer this will last as the mornings are darker now then when I started this journey. As you can see from the photo the street lights are still on!!!
At the start of this program, I was very reluctant to believe that it would be able to get me running for 25 mins but somehow with perseverance, sweat, tears and sheer bloody mindedness I have been able to get to WK7R2 so to all the newbies, the middlers and the 'I'll never be able to run' peeps, you bloody well can and you will!!
I have loved my journey up to this point and I now know that running will always be a part of my life. Wherever life takes me and whatever curve ball life throws at me, I have and will always have my running and my virtual running family and that brings me great joy π€
I β€οΈ running ππ»ββοΈ and running β€οΈ's me π
