I have reached last run of week 6 but struggling with darker mornings which will only get worse.having broken ankle last december and full recovery i am scared of slipping on the leaves plus rain stopped me for 2 days
I feel i need to change mode to keep motivated in the winter
Who can give me words of encouragement?

Changing seasons do produce a load of fresh challenges, don’t they ?! Well done for sticking with it in spite of everything ! Is there any way you could go out later ? Or can you get access to a treadmill ? Hope it all works out for you soon x
I feel more assured on my feet with a headtorch on dark mornings, it helps me anticipate what lies before me. Maybe that would help you too, if you don't already have one ?
I'm heading towards my first winter of running too, but I'm willing to bet that it will help with my seasonal depression as days get shorter. That's a good motivation for me !
Well... it is either inside..or.. trail shoes, off road, not pavements.. but tracks and trails...... and a head torch or a sports track maybe... It is hard to get over a fall like that. But.. maybe finding a good route and taking it very slowly and steadily.. it could work
I graduated the winter of 2015... and had no issues... but.. I never every ran or run if there has been ice...
