Don't see it like that, I had 3 weeks on the injury couch and know how frustrating it can be but you need to be fit and healthy first or you'll end up doing yourself a mischief. Keep the fluids up, paracetamol and rest and you'll be back before you know it.

Wishing you better soon,

J9 x

Quite simply, just get better and as soon as you feel good to go carry on where you left off..😊

Yes...that is sound advice 😊

Heal and feel better :)

Not slipping behind just pausing.. the runs will still be there and you will be back on form:)

Who's falling behind? Who are you falling behind? If you aren't up to running and you attempt a run and you don't make it to the end you will blame yourself and feel like you've f**led, sorry I don't use the full word.

Get yourself feeling better then you will be at your best and you will enjoy the run more.

Thats very true...just frustrating as this is the first time possibly ever that i have had this level of enthusiasm for anything.thanks for your wise words x

It is extremely frustrating. I had to have a week off running before my graduation run. It meant I couldn't run my first Park run that week, I graduated a week later than expected, at the start of the week I was catastrophising thinking I will never finish, something will always get in the way. But I did graduate no problem, there was another park run the next week, everything was fine.

You can't really fall behind. You have your completed runs in the bank and the next one is waiting for you when you are ready.

You are absolutely right...i am the queen of over thinking haha πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Please don't fret, you really can't run very well if you're poorly. So whilst it's frustrating you're doing absolutely the right thing by resting. We will stay with you all the way
