These are my stats from this morning...are they any good??
Is this ok?: These are my stats from this... - Couch to 5K
Is this ok?
They look like stats for sure
I do mine in min/km but you know, some people are faster and some are slower. To do 5k in 30 minutes you would need a pace of 6k per minute. I'm *very* far off that, while some people on the forum start out and are immediately close. I want to be fast, so I'm kind of very long term aiming for what they are doing right now. I think it's OK. They are probably taller or younger or in some way better shaped for running than me. In other words, I think checking your own stats is great but other people's stats aren't much of a guide...
Also: plug your phone in!!!
Ha ha...thanks ejvcruns...
I do seem really slow...the runners at the front are finishing in like 10 minutes!!! Don't think I'll ever be that fast....anyway, how can you enjoy everything around you if it's all just a blur!!!!!?!
These look good to me keep it up your doing great
Wow, yeah. 3+ mins faster per mile than me. Speedy Gonzalez
ππ
Yeah faster than me too...although today I went 120 miles an hour for 20 seconds!! ππ
Well now I put it into a converter and your average pace with warmup included is my fastest pace per km. I now officially hate you since I don't take my own advice to ignore other people's stats. Happy?
Thatβs why I donβt look too closely!! And I never post any!! ππ
Sorry haven't got a blinking clue, I am rubbish with all that tech stuff. I can just about switch the app on and get some music playing. But just wanted to say that you are out there, doing it and have been for all these weeks, that makes you amazing, regardless of times, kms or anything else! Don't worry too much about all that. Anything you do from now on is more than good, it's super fantastic!
I do around 7:50 per km at this point- but I get faster every time.i have no idea what that translates to. I've just finished wk 4, but not started wk 5 yet.
Hey lovely, I'm trying to catch up with posts as I've been away on holiday and only back early hours, so I hope to catch up with your posts and comment π
As for your stats, they're far better and quicker than mine. My quickest pace must be about 14", but some runs have been slower and that's just on the podcasts.
You're doing fab, truly fab. I'll be honest and say I'm not in it to compete, but just to have bit of fun. Though, I think when I do more 5k's, I will want to try and beat my time each time, after all, we have to challenge ourselves, lol ππSeriously, keep going my lovely, I for one, have you as number one on my ratings xx
Awww, that's a very sweet thing to say...I wondered where you were, I have missed you?...I'm not in it to compete either...i couldn't careless really, I just have a good time in my own head while I'm out there...and I always will, I am having such a good time!!! I'm a changed person!! You are tops to me too xxx
Aww, bless your lil running legs. I've been on holibobs,, lol, only returned early hours today. Must get running again, as I've not been since graduation at park run, 2 weeks ago. Reading your post has got me inspired lovely xx π
We missed you QB! I wondered if you were on holiday.
Right: you know what you've got to do.
Aww, I've missed you all too. Even thought about you all on my holiday and thinking shall I do the podcast again ππ Reading Mummy caves stats and all the news from everyone, just inspires me, so I'm going to get my running shoes on. Watch this space, no time for procrastinating, lol!! Xx
Excellent stats.
YES π
Please do pace in min/km. We are still in the EU.
Okay did the sums and the pace is Faberific.
Not in the EU for much longer and please remember our road signs have always been in good old miles! I'm glad I never converted my brain properly to metric.
Hi great stats much quicker than me, think it's cos I am old π₯ pleased to hear you still enjoying the running. I think it really does make you feel better health wise and mentally πππ
You are NOT old...90 is the new 80 so 80 is the new 70 and so on....times have changed...there'll be a new way to calculate our age soon I'm thinking!!!! You know, like dog years? Except ours will be less than human years!!!! It's mind boggling!!! I'm just me...no matter how old I am...my Mum had me, brought me up, I've had my children & im bringing them up and so the world goes on...numbers do not matter x
We may be older...but still out there and not π π₯
This is very true , I am very envious of the runners who manage 5 k I am still not quite reaching 4 but hey I am still plodding on slowly and I can run 30 minutes πππππ
Looks good to me guv! Speed and all that don't mean much at the mo though, you're doing the k's girl and that's the main thing πGreat work x
I have discovered so much depends on your route. I changed mine and introduced a hill and average pace including the walking bits dropped by 14 sec/mile. So it's impossible to compare to other people.
But I think your numbers look fine. Maybe not keeping up with Mo yet but ahead of Brian the Snail!
Looking pretty similar to mine -3.2miles in 40 minutes. I'm feeling really positive that I'm running 5K so I think the stats are good! My goal is to get faster but that's a long term ambition. Keep up the good work.
Good stuff! I suppose I ought to start paying attention to stuff like this. I never bother with my stats. Or rather, I have alternative ones: number of swearwords per minute, total dog poos dodged, number of times I managed to cheat Death by Tram, number of passers-by freaked out, etc.
