Is there anyone on here who is early 50’s and rated as obese on BMI who is succeeding with their journey to fitness?

I’m 60 and definitely in the obese category. I’m pushing on through week 7 and surprising myself with every run! I’m not any lighter but I have lost inches and gained fitness and confidence. Come and join us 👍😃

What a lovely uplifting post!... 👏👏 I’m a couple of months off 60 myself and menopausal weight gain is clinging on for its life!...

but I’m on Week 8

It’s such a magical programme for any shape, size, age, etc etc - I love it.. and the support off the forum is the best! We have such giggles!

BellaShh you will love it!

Snail pace slow - I think we all make the mistake of thinking we are Mo Farah at week 1..

it may help you to know week 1 I could only do 20 seconds initially!

60 seconds sounds easy —- UNTIL you do it.. but

Fear not! You get there!

It’s magical 👌 😀

This is the best thing out there for us "50+ tubby ladies" 😊 Just Do it. Do it. Do it. Trust the programme! It works, this is the 2nd time I've done C25k and all going well I am planning to graduate at the end of this week! It's hard, but you won't regret it 😊

You do it... it will be absolutely fine... check out the post for Newbies... take it steady and slow... keep posting and enjoy!

There are all sorts here, short, tall, larger and smaller... young and not so young ( I started at 65, five years ago :)

Just take this at your own relaxed pace and know we are all here with you :)

I’m mid fifties and definitely more of a ball than a stick but I’m on week 8 and although it’s challenging I’m doing it. You’ll be fine just remember slow and steady.
