I'm just back from my second run of week 1 but going to count it as run 1 because I managed to complete all 8 runs! Thanks to your advice and tips, the key things that got me through were slowing down and then slowing down a bit more! not competing with hubby, switching from the app to the podcasts that include music and consciously managing my breathing. Feel great!
It was really windy which caught my breath a few times but to be expected considering we do this on a desolate moor in the Highlands of Scotland.
Pic is Hubby miles in front doing it at his own pace with his own app which made a real difference to me!

Funny, your husband looks just like a moorland track
Extremely well done for figuring out how this programme can work for you! My husband is also zillions of times faster than me despite being the same height, I could never run with him.
My hubby is mega fit...can run for 8-10 miles without stopping!!!accidentally ran 22 miles one sunday pm because he got lost!!!& here i am struggling to run for 90 seconds without stopping haha 🤣😂
it is gorgeous...its the Dava Way, an old railway line over 20 miles long through stunning scenery and I'm lucky enough to live on it so no excuses for not getting out there!
he's between the trees and just passed a sheep....may have to zoom in, very far ahead. its no wonder I almost keeled over trying to keep up with him the first time😂
