A much needed rest day today, as I've been a bit naughty this week and have run most days. Not to be emulated, but after 19 months running I'm allowed to break the rules now and then and I have targets to meet!
Anyway hubby has got himself a new camera, the weather is fantastic, sunny, about 18 degrees C and autumn is just starting to make an appearance. So we had to go for a walk round one of our local lakes. I also run around here now and again, although it's a bit short for a long weekend run. We strolled around slowly, watching the ducks, moorhens, swans, great-crested grebes and geese. There were people out sunbathing and groups of youngsters barbecuing but it was remarkably peaceful and the light was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Hubby took some gorgeous pictures. But the ones included here are mine. I am so lucky to have places like this on my doorstep.
Think I'm due for a long run tomorrow!

I wondered who would ask! I would really like to run at least 100k every month for as long as possible. September would be the 7th month in a row. I got a bit behind on my holidays so I have a bit of catching up to do, but it's doable without being TOO silly. It just means this week I have to put some extra effort in. I'll try not to do this too often though - I'm feeling it in my legs I must admit, even though my mid-week runs were slow and not too long (3x5k and a 4k).
