Lovely photo of your running route Ibot, nice and mellow with the early morning mist hanging softly on the grass just at sunrise. Nice that you ran along with your dog, some people run 5ks and even 10ks with their dog πΆ. Apart from guide dogs I have not heard of anyone running a full marathon with a dog.
You ask in your last sentence "let me ask you how you got on"
Well I got on this morning by running my second 5k in a time of 33.40 which is a little quicker than my first 5k on Saturday when my time was 34.21. To be honest with you I thought my time would be around 37 minutes as there are few short hillsπ on the course, but like cyclingπ΄ you go up hills slowly and down the other side a little quicker, πthat sort of evens the pace.
Storm Calum to give gales and heavy rain on Friday especially in Ireland and the west of the UK, so any runners in those areas get your runs done on Thursday and make Friday a rest day
