So it was a cold and froggy 🐸 morning!!

We saw three cranes (well I hope it was three or I have a stalker πŸ‘€ ) ( we being dog and I)

I ran .... I ran I did my normal leap in the sky and high fived God at the half way bell πŸ›Ž I ran I prayed that I would not die (I didn’t)

I finished so what can I say πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

I still can’t breathe but will go say hey πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈto google to see if he is smarter than me ( pretty sure he is)

I think I’ve seen run three might be a killer πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Oh well it beats being run over by an elephant 🐘 ( it’s a jungle out there)

Let me know how you get on

Lovely photo of your running route Ibot, nice and mellow with the early morning mist hanging softly on the grass just at sunrise. Nice that you ran along with your dog, some people run 5ks and even 10ks with their dog 🐢. Apart from guide dogs I have not heard of anyone running a full marathon with a dog.

You ask in your last sentence "let me ask you how you got on"

Well I got on this morning by running my second 5k in a time of 33.40 which is a little quicker than my first 5k on Saturday when my time was 34.21. To be honest with you I thought my time would be around 37 minutes as there are few short hills😘 on the course, but like cycling🚴 you go up hills slowly and down the other side a little quicker, 😊that sort of evens the pace.

Thank you for sharing.

Well done for completing, already you are amazing In my eyes!!

I don’t look up hills anymore. After all it’s just one step at a time 😊😊

I do think I’ve read of a lady (obviously it could have been a man πŸ™„) running with a guide dog πŸ•

It was a good day for a run. Pre storm at the end of the week (an ark might be more fitting)

Storm Calum to give gales and heavy rain on Friday especially in Ireland and the west of the UK, so any runners in those areas get your runs done on Thursday and make Friday a rest day

Well done Ibot. Nice pic too.

Like you, I've got run 3 next.

The first 8 minutes flew by, it only felt like 2, the second I got horrendous cramp in one calf.

A bit nervous for this next one. Leaving a few extra days to recover.

Seems like a good idea. Weather is meant to be horrendous on Friday 😱😱

You proud of yourself?

I'd say I was pleasantly surprised how well it went, and relieved.

That's a blow about the weather, leaves only Thursday - I'd planned to go to the Lakes this weekend

It is indeed. We are spoiled in the NW and N Wales for hills within 90 minutes drive. Where are you?
