WK6R2 has been achieved!! π I found this a lot easier than the first run of WK6 and I think it must be because of all the heartache and tears after dropping my daughter at uni!!
Didn't manage to achieve my early morning start as my alarm failed to go off!! π’π’ Technological gremlins again!! So after I finished work early due to some time owed to me, I donned my gear and headed out the door into glorious sunshine βοΈ.
Legs, breathing and pace felt good today so that's good preparation for the big one-WK6R3, a whole 25 minutes of running. Nonstop. Running. 25 minutes. Running. 25 minutes.
Tough, but as the song says "When the going gets tough, the tough get going"
Let's hope this girl is tough enough on Thursday ππ€πΌ

You will do this, the extra 5 minutes is all in your head, trust me, after W5R3 this will seem easier than you think.
Once you've done this one, W7 is the same, 3x 25 minutes.
If you can run for 20 minutes, you can run for 25.
If you can run for 25 minutes, you can run for 28,
If you can run for 28 minutes, you can run for 30.
Slow and steady, control your breathing, you will do this. Only think about getting to the end of it, nothing else matters, think how you'll feel when you have completed it, seriously, it's all in your head from here on.
I'm going to give W7R2 a go in the morning, depending on how I feel, I'm drinking a lot and don't feel that bad so we'll be virtual running partners tomorrow, I'm fat, potentially unwell and unfit, if I can do this, so can you
Yes you've got this one. It will test you a bit, but you've been through it all before. You know what you've got to do, keep moving and try to focus on anything other than the time.
