W3R1 - after a few days!!

After W2R3 I thought I would not be able to make W3. I had a good few days rest because I was worried about doing it! In the end today I decided enough is enough and got out there today. I will admit that it was a struggle stepping up from 90s to 3m. I decided to set a 3m countdown on my watch so it would motivate me in the last minute and seconds to keep going .. only a few seconds more!! I found it really helped to motivate me especially towards the end of the 2nd 3m. Anyone else out there struggling no matter which week it is, keep going the feeling at the end makes it worth the struggle.

Each week is a challenge that the previous week has prepared you for.

Trust the plan and believe that your amazing body is capable of doing way more than your mind currently limits it to.

You are doing great.

Well done.

You are doing brilliantly, if you weren't struggling and continuing you wouldn't really be getting the best from the program, when you push yourself to complete a run you actually help build your stamina levels.

Just remember, slow and steady and as Luke Skywalker says in the trailer for the new Star Wars film, 'Breathe, just breathe'.

Have search around the internet, there are some excellent articles regarding breathing while running and some exercises you can do.
