W3R1 - Not such a Leap After All!

I was really worried how I was going to make the leap from 90 seconds to 3 minutes......twice! but I only blooming well did it! I won't pretend it was easy, especially the second section. I've switched from Sarah Millican to Michael Jordan and I swear he was reading my mind "you are probably feeling exhausted" he said but when he said "there's just one minute to go" it did the trick. Haven't stopped grinning since I got home. Im feeling it in my legs but that's to be expected I'm sure.

The reason it wasn’t as hard as you thought is that you still ran for nine minutes in total: the progress this week is not in increasing the running but in reducing the walking. File that understanding in your head somewhere for future reference because when you get to week 5 it will help you.

Sorry I was just responding to your message title where you called it ‘not such a big leap’. It is a significant step in the programme because of the reduction in walking time.

Worry... that will let doubt in... doubt breeds the willingness to quit. Great job kicking worry’s butt today... it’s downed, don’t let it get back up, you got this.

Yup I have got it, if I can do it once I can do it twice more!

You can do anything... you’ve gone from “I’ll give this a go” to a very positive mindset in two weeks... just imagine what you can do in a year! Good job.

Well done! You sound enthused by that run, and that’s half the battle won. It’s mind over matter, and if you tackle each week/run in that fashion, you’ll smash the programme out of the park! 👏👏

I used MJ too and loved him! I spoke to him and agreed with his comments ... out loud! Oops, bonkers running lady! 😅

Thank you! I wouldn't say that I 'run' yet and still liken it to a very slow jog but I moving more than I ever was before so that's got to be good in my book. I'm actually looking forward to my 'Michael and Me Time' tomorrow!
