I was so tired from work, but still managed to drag myself out. First 5 minutes was hell, kept thinking just stop for a bit. So glad i pushed on. Feel much better now. It is amazing the progress from when I first started. Really looking forward to next run.

You know, you have such a great attitude (maybe just your face in the pic!) that I am sure that you will continue on your running journey, whatever life throws :)

It's great when you have a good run, isn't it?

I am in this habit where the first 5 minutes are always a struggle for me, but once I am over that first five minutes, it really becomes enjoyable. After I reach week nine. I will treat myself to running in this amazing forest area nearby that I had no idea existed. It even has the remains of an old iron age fort. That will be my reward :)

Feel great to be so close to completing couch to 5k

You are doing brilliantly, well done!!

I always have to talk myself through the first ten minutes as I hate them, hate them, hate them! And then I hit minute eleven and it is suddenly fun and I feel I can do anything!!

Very well done you!

Well done you got past the flaky 5 minutes which was always my bugbear. Surprisingly I never minded the toxic tens, it was effing five that was my bête noire. You're doing very well and nicely settled in your running.

Not what you're looking for?
